A Permanent Candidiasis Cure

Background

More than 75% of women and a large number of men children and even babies will be affected by candidiasis at some point in their lives. Indeed candidiasis is a much bigger problem in our modern developed societies than it is in third world countries.

Candidiasis can be a very uncomfortable, distressing and embarrassing condition and many of us will pay a visit to our nearest pharmacy or drugstore for one of the very many over the counter treatments that are now available as soon as the slightest signs of candidiasis show up. There are 2 main problems with the use of over the counter treatments:

While these treatments may help relieve the symptoms and make you feel better they do not tackle the root cause – so the candidiasis can keep coming back.

The infection can become very resistant to these treatments when they are used regularly – to the point where they have little or no effect.

What is Candidiasis?

Before we look at candidiasis treatment let’s take a look at what this condition actually is. Candidiasis, which is also known as Thrush, Yeast Infection, Monilia or a Candida infection is the result of an overgrowth of Candida albicans bacteria.

Candida albicans are one of a huge number  of diverse bacteria occur naturally on the outside of our bodies, in the genital regions, our mouths and also in our gastro-intestinal system. Each of these bacteria are necessary for our wellbeing and in a normal healthy person they all exist in harmony and balance each other out.

During our busy modern lives however, there can be many situations where our delicate internal balance can be disrupted. It is during these times that the Candida albicans can grow uncontrollably and this is when we will start to notice the distressing symptoms of candidiasis.

Many people believe that candidiasis only happens in localised areas of the skin – particularly in the genital region. The truth is that it is often not that simple – and there can be a much more significant internal problem.

What happens in our intestines?

When Candida albicans are able to multiply out of control they also change from a yeast form into a fungal form which can produce root-like structure that can penetrate the walls of our intestines.

This can allow the Candida bacteria and partially digested food to get into the blood stream. It can then potentially infect our internal organs as well as many localised regions on the surface of our skin – producing the candidiasis symptoms that many of us are all too familiar with.

Once this has happened the candidiasis has become systemic and can be extremely difficult to get rid of. Indeed in extreme cases this can even become life-threatening.

Causes of Candidiasis

There can be a huge number of potential causes of candidiasis and usually it is a combination of a number of different issues that has caused the infection - .and every case can be slightly different and unique.

This is what makes this condition extremely difficult for doctors to deal with.

Each of us really needs to carefully consider what may be the causes in their own particular and unique case and make the necessary changes to our diets and/or lifestyle to prevent it from coming back.

Symptoms of Candidiasis

If you can catch your infection at an early stage you have a much better chance of getting rid of it before it gets a hold on you.

To be able to catch it early you need to be aware of the typical likely candidiasis symptoms and begin treatment as soon as you notice them.

Most of us will be only too familiar with the symptoms but you can click here for a full list of the common candidiasis symptoms.

Candidiasis Treatment

There are a few main forms of treatment:

  • Over the counter treatment from your drugstore or pharmacy can be quite good for helping to relieve the symptoms but are not able to tackle the underlying cause – so your symptoms are likely to return.
  • There are a number of good home remedies but again while these will make you feel better they will not deal with the root cause.
  • Doctors find it very difficult to treat candidiasis – simply because it is usually caused by a combination of many different factors.
  • A comprehensive holistic treatment program is often the only way to properly take care of the underlying causes and restore a healthy internal balance.
